The Shearwater Teric offers intuitive controls and seamless menu navigation, combined with a vibrant and bright AMOLED color display. Designed for divers seeking ultimate customization, the Teric is both a high-performance dive computer and an elegant timepiece, providing unparalleled functionality and ease of use.

The Teric by Shearwater Research is a versatile technical dive computer designed with recreational divers in mind. It supports open-circuit and closed-circuit Air, Nitrox, and Trimix multi-gas functionality, as well as a three-axis tilt-compensated digital compass. Featuring five dive modes—Recreational, Gauge, Freediving, Open-Circuit Tech, and Closed-Circuit/Bail-Out—the Teric is adaptable to a wide range of diving activities.

The Teric’s user-friendly interface includes four buttons and intuitive, situation-adaptive logic menus, ensuring effortless operation while diving. Customizable buttons allow quick access to various tools, such as the compass, stopwatch, countdown timer, and more. The device also features both haptic (vibration) and audible alarms, which can be disabled to avoid disturbing other divers.

The Teric boasts a 1.39-inch (35mm) full-color AMOLED display, offering stunning visuals in a compact 2.16 x 0.71-inch (55mm x 18mm) body that weighs just 4.25 oz (120.4 g). Brightness levels are adjustable with a single button press, ensuring optimal readability in any lighting condition.

For decompression dives, the Teric provides comprehensive information on required stop times, with "look ahead" features for planned gas switches. Multiple gas presets allow for any combination of oxygen, nitrogen, and helium, while the Teric ensures you won't face a lockout after a missed stop or ascent rate violation.

The Teric seamlessly syncs via Bluetooth with the Shearwater Cloud Dive Log Manager, which is compatible with Windows, OS X, iOS, and Android devices, enabling wireless log downloads and firmware updates. The software can be easily downloaded from Shearwater’s website.

Gas Pressure Integration (AI):
The Teric supports hoseless gas pressure integration, allowing for wireless connection to optional transmitters. Monitor up to four tank pressures, and calculate the Gas Time Remaining (GTR) directly on the display. Air integration is available across all modes, from OC Rec to CC/BO, with tank pressures and GTR displayed in customizable slots. Transmitters can be installed directly into the first stage or on a short HP hose (Note: an Air Spool is required for short HP hoses).

Wireless Rechargeable Battery:
The Teric features a wireless rechargeable battery and includes an induction charging stand. On a single charge, it offers up to 30-50 hours of dive time, depending on settings. While Shearwater recommends using their charging stand, the Teric can also be charged using any flat mat that supports the Qi wireless-charging standard (compatible with most recent iPhones and many Android phones).

• Optional Safety Stops: Choose from 3, 4, or 5-minute safety stops, or use the adaptable setting.
  • Adaptable Safety Stops: In the Adapt setting, a 3-minute safety stop is used unless the dive exceeds 100 ft (30 m) or the NDL falls below 5 minutes, in which case a 5-minute stop is triggered.
• No Decompression Limit (NDL) Dive Planner: Plan your dives with ease, focusing on maximum operating depth (MOD) and no decompression time limit (NDL).
• MOD Alerts: The display clearly warns you if your depth is near, at, or exceeds the maximum operating depth of the selected breathing gas.
• Mandatory Deco Stop Warning: If you exceed NDL and require decompression, the display turns red and alerts you with the necessary depth and stop times.
